Savannah is a wonderful walking town. It's also a town full of history, and, allegedly, spirits. This is one of the most dramatic tours we ever took. Orphanage fires, duels, hangings, madmen on the loose.. Savannah has had them all.
The walk is easy and covers about a mile altogether. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. No other place I've ever been has such a feeling of history as Savannah. And only Charleston, so far, as seemed so at home with its ghosts.
You will enjoy this walk, and you will not forget it, even if you don't actually encounter any apparitions yourself.
